When Nanette was little she had a thing for classifying boy colors and girl colors. Girl colors, of course, were pink and red. Everything else was boy colors. When she saw her mother wearing a pair of aquamarine earrings, Nanette chastised her for wearing boy earrings. 'But boys don't wear earrings, honey,' her mother, Melissa, told her. 'Then why are they boy colored?' She had to stop for a second and think. How to outwit a three-year-old's logic? Probably no use trying. 'Well, honey, girls can wear blue, and boys can wear pink if they want to.' Nanette, now in college, was thinking about that conversation the other day, and she had to call her mother. 'I've still got the aquamarine earrings you loaned me this summer,' she said. 'I love them! They're so light and feminine. But you know what? Don't look for me to bring home any boys wearing pink.'
Simple but striking, these earrings grab attention with emerald-cut aquamarine CZs as blue as the sky. Setting them asparkle at top and bottom are smaller rectangular diamond CZs, and all are mounted sideways for an eye-catching twist. These .925 sterling silver earrings are polished for maximum brilliance and lasting shine.
