The barbecue had been an overwhelming success. The dance afterwards would go down in small-town history as one of the best ever, not counting the 1984 senior prom where Kip Winger half-heartedly sat in with the dance band, really a power trio otherwise dedicated to playing Black Sabbath covers. Rhonda credited the success of the Bicentennial Memorial Celebration primarily to herself, and she was mostly correct. It helped that gas prices went through the roof that weekend due to a hurricane crashing ashore in Texas. And that William Howard's city dump truck happened to crash into the huge satellite dish at the local cable company, knocking out TV for most of the town. Regardless, she'd been looking for a reason to celebrate, a reason to buy the ring she'd had her eye on, this sterling silver band with big, sparkling stones. She'll be wearing it, she told herself, when she plans the Semiquincentennial in fifty years.
You'll have love wrapped around your finger when you wear this dazzling ring featuring three heart-shaped diamond CZs – a big, beautiful one in the center with smaller ones snuggled up to it on each side. They top a clean .925 sterling silver ring that's been polished to a brilliant shine.
